Elisa Gollatz was frustrated with all the provocative clothing being marketed to our girls. She started designing clothing for children that promotes the virtue of modesty. Her new collections are designed to keep little girls little... one outfit at a time.

We are teaming up in February. I love the line and would recommend it to my clients for photoshoots. These cute outfits really can make your portraits unique and precious! I will be doing a commercial photoshoot with her clothing in February and need some models for the clothing line. I had the opportunity to work with the Rose Hall Event Center again. Such a beautiful place to hold any event!

Every year I call Santa just in time to make an appointment to visit with him. I always enjoy seeing him interact with all the kids. I am making his time available to all my clients for $150. These are limited sessions which include 5-7 images on cd to print for your Christmas card. The sessions are scheduled for Sunday, December 6 at 1pm-3pm.

I really enjoyed the family session today. We hiked down to the stream behind my clients home. It was so beautiful!! Everyone did such a great job trying all my crazy poses. You’ll have to wait to see those… Happy peeking!

Really enjoyed meeting little L. He was a little cutie and was very hungry! He spend most of the time eating but we were able to get him to take a few portraits. More to come.

So, I have so share a funny thing that happened to me the other day. While I was at church chatting with a friend, she tells me that I have to see her all time favorite picture of her little boy. She wanted to show it to me just for ideas and such. She tells me about the picture and says that the picture was taken at County Line UMC Preschool. I laugh and ask her when the picture was taken. She tells me it was taken in 2004...So funny...I was the photographer! I didn't even know her then! It was such a blessing to know that my photography is loved and cherished!

So, here's my latest project...I so enjoyed doing this one. I am a part of a cool community! This is the newest ad for Vintage 242 Church. It is a new church plant from Riverstone and it is located in the Cedarcrest area (Seven Hills/Bentwater area). We had a blast creating this one and all the "models" are actually people from the church. How fun! Come and visit and maybe make this your new church home.

I found a new spot! I'm so excited to share with you some beautiful portraits from the Rose Hall Event Center. Wow! If you are planning a wedding, you need to contact them. It is so beautiful, elegant and peaceful. The grounds are just awesome. Take a look!

I wanted to encourage you all to include your baby's favorite lovie in your sessions. As your child grows, lovie will always be right by their side. When your child loves a stuffed animal or blanket that much, they are bound to become dirty and ripped. One way to remember the young favorite is to include it during the one year session like the one above.

Couples meet in many different ways. Some couples have long relationships before they decide to marry. Some realize that they must be together within the first minute they meet. This couple knew soon after they met that they were meant to be together. I can so relate to their story because mine is much the same. I had to share one of my favorites!

So, guess who I got to meet? A little princess. Although she was just 16 months, her daddy would say she is going on 16 years old. She was fun to follow and capture her portraits.

Yummy Treat!

I am trying to eat much healthier. I used to be a vegetarian during my teens but as life got busy I reverted back to my old meat eating habits. I stumbled upon a very cool website www.greensmoothiegirl.com so I pulled my vitamix out. There is so much life in vegetables and fruits that my body is calling for a change...so I'm jumping back in...Here's a picture of my breakfast this morning. Don't be fooled! It is so yummy!

With your Vitamixer:
Combine and mix until smooth:
2 Tablespoons of Cocoa
1 Avocado
1 cup Fresh Spinach
2 Small Apples
1 cup water
2 Table Spoons of Agave Sweetener
1 Teaspoon of Stevia (Optional)

then add:
2 cups of ice

Enjoy a sweet, nutritional, and yummy treat!

Sweet 16

It always amazes me how mature and beautiful our 16 year olds are these days! Wow. I really enjoyed capturing this special year for A.

I really enjoyed meeting little H. He was full of so much energy and his presence made you want to smile. I look forward to seeing him again!

Had so much fun with A. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out! More to come later this week. But, until then, here's a quick poem to make you smile.

Sweet, Sweet Baby

Here's all the portraits from the cute baby I did before Disney! So sweet.

DISNEY! Well, we just got back from our trip from Disney. We all had a blast seeing the characters and riding rides. We were blessed to go with my mom and my brother and his family. Sometimes, it's so nice to get away and refresh your mind. While I was there, my mind was just swirling with new ideas for photography sessions. I am looking forward to the summer and trying some new ideas with all of you!

I have been looking forward to capturing some portraits of this little one. She is so sweet and a joy to be around. I have been watching her grow since she was just a few weeks old. It amazes me just how much babies grow in the first year.
